Well lets see:

A. Does the Walker need a special nipple wrench... the one I use for the 58's and 60 dont seem to work on all the Walker Nipples....

B. If you had to store your weapons for an extended period of time >1 year what would you do? Automotive grease applied liberally?

C. How would you dispose off the BP without actually firing it off. Time constraints might kick in.... what about the balls? or just let them be...

I might have to go to another country for a long period of time, and wont be able to ship the guns... hence the questions.
Hopefully the move can be avoided....

A. I use a modified 6mm deep well socket for a nipple wrench (ground it down so there are two ears). The steel of a socket is much better quality than any actual nipple wrench I've encountered.
B. I've had good luck just using a quality gun oil, but it tends to be a bit on the dry side where I live. The most important thing in my opinion, would be storing them where temperature extremes and humidity could be avoided.
C. The best you could do with the BP if you intend to not try keeping it would be to give/sell it to somebody that would use it. The balls can be tossed in a plastic bag and stored with the guns.

Sounds like you may be getting orders :scrutiny:

A thin film of RIG works great for long term storage and it's easy to remove when you want to shoot again. As for the powder, I'd just close the lid tightly and put it away. The stuff lasts for decades so it will be fine to shoot when you need it as long as moisture can't get to it.
