As a new member, I don't know if these kinds of threads are taboo, but I don't see one already made, so here goes:

Post your entire collection. Mods delete this if it's a lame idea. :neener:

Bogie - Cut him some slack, huh? He's new.

Dr. Fresh - first of all, welcome to THR. Nice collection - I've got a Hi-Point 995 too, and so far it's been a great shooter, especially for the price. I had an SKS as well, but foolishly got rid of it recently.

What Bogie said is true, though - we see posts like this quite often here, so yours might get lost in the static, as it were - but we hope it won't stop ya from sticking around and making more posts here in the future!

Hey! My dad's got a S&W 59 just like that one.
I hate it... it's difficult to shoot and doesn't fit my hand. I mean, maybe I'm not used to pistols (I don't get to fire them a lot), but I really hated firing the thing. Made my shooting abilities feel very... inadequate. :uhoh:
Anyway, I did enjoy seeing it again. :D

Is it really wise to put an inventory of your entire collection on the internet? You assume that bad guys can't trace back this inventory back to you. (Hint: hackers!!!!)

bogie: That's what I figured, but I didn't see anything on the first couple pages. I don't browse further than that on any forum.

kingpin: Thanks. I love the 995, but the sights need a serious adjustment. But hey, it only cost me $60.

Nolo: The 59 is difficult to shoot. I'm nowhere near as proficient with it as I would like, but the single action trigger is decent and I can hit man-sized targets easily.

psyprofessor: I'm not too worried about hackers. They usually aren't the types who invade homes to steal guns. They are usually after credit card info.

Mr. 1973: A single picture thread would be nice. And thanks, I didn't wanna make the poor BB gun feel left out.

Catherine: Thanks, I plan on sticking around a while.

Swede: Exactly.

I don't think I'd be showing the world just how many guns of what type I have.

Who knows what minion of big brother can be watching.

Not a good idea.

I NEVER let anyone know what I have in terms of firearms. I don't care about the Feds. Thieves use the Net to scout new sources.

In terms of those who use this site for legitimate purposes, you have a good start. Your next purchase should be a safe.

I figure the gov't is already well aware of my activities.

The criminals are too stupid to find me.

Here are the handguns from one safe.

I have more than one safe.

I don't have a camera, I spend all my money on guns:) When your collection gets in to 3 digits, it gets hard to photograph it anyways.

My collection (it's a small collection, but it's something!)....

Mosin-Nagant M91/30
Marlin Model 60
GP WASR-10
Bushmaster AR-15

I like to look at the pictures and hear about collections or accumulations. For my part I keep the whole shabang fairly quiet but I guess you could piece things together if you wanted to read every post I have ever made on a forum. Even my wife doesn't know what I have. :)

Most just aren't interested enough to dig. Only Big Brother or a professional thief would likely go to the effort.

SaxonPig, that is pretty impressive.
