Your favorite .223 load for S&W M&P 15

hey guys, I just got an AR and looking for some load data, picked up dies and the Lee turret is ready to roll!

I have H335, CCI small rifle primers, and a variety of 50'ish grain bullets. My 22-250 loves the Berger 52 grain hollow point target bullets, I'll surely be trying these. My uncle says 25.5 grains of H335 is his go to for many bullet weights in the 50's.... What's your "go to" load?

I have an M&P 15 Sport. It loves a Hornady 55gr FMJ BT W/C over 25.2gr of H335.

I recently bought some 55gr FMJs by Zero Bullets and it HATES that load. It looks like I shot the target with a 12 GA.

I've got some test.loads ready to go with those bullets to see if I can find something better.

My pet load that matches the velocity of XM-193 at 3000 fps from a 16 inch barrel is as follows: 26 grains AA-2460, L-C case, CCI-450 primer, 55 grain FMJ, seated at 2.230".

XM-193 will print about a 6.5 inch group off-hand at 50 yards, my load easily keeps them inside of 4 inches.

I load 24 gr of H-335, with a 55 gr Hornady SP, seated at the cannelure, using CCI 450's. Pretty accurate in my M&P 15 Sport.

My sport does well with 55 fmj hornady and tac / blc 2 / W748 seems like most powders work you just need to work up some loads and see what works for you
