Kept by my leg in the bed, chamber loaded with a 3" magnum turkey load, safety off, finger on the trigger. I'm a heavy sleeper, so I need it as ready to go as I can get it.
Kidding, of course. Cruiser ready. Mag downloaded by one. First three are 7 1/2 bird shot. Remaining three in the mag are Estate Tactical loads. There are a couple of slugs on the side saddle just in case.
