Your worst injury

I put wooden boot grips on my Taurus M605 once and proceded to try to fire a cylinder full of full house 158gr mag loads through it!! Let's say I got no more than one shot off before I was nursing torn webbing on my hand for a week!!! It bled like an SOB!! I quickly replaced the rubber grips and consigned the boot grips to the "bad idea" drawer!!!!

I was shooting my Tec-9 and upon recoil, the damn cocking handle broke off and flew back and hit me just below my eye. It cut me and gave a little bruise. I was VERY thankful that I was wearing my shooting glasses.

Oh, another one -- I was at the range at Camp Lejeune and we were doning BZO's. A guy beside me had his brass launch my way and got under my collar. I was wearing a flack jacket and wasn't able to manuver fast enough to get the brass. I got a nice blister from that one.

Humm...had a raven 25 auto that slam fired and I got a nice piece of hot brass in the joint of my thumb.Hurt like hell.Took me a few minutes to muster up the onions to pull it out.



Worst injury not gun related was in high school rodeo.A bull bucked me off and stepped on me seperating my right bag from my leg.I think that hurt too.Cant remember,I passed out.
