Where ever the good LORD puts me.
Some of this applies to revolver guys in general, but thought I would include them here as well. Please feel free to add to the list.

(1) You own more than two J or K frames of the same style and barrel length i.e. a 642 and a 442 or a 19 and a 66.

(2) You know what runs of the Charter Arms Bulldog are the better made ones.

(3) You know that there is a .44Spl and own a revolver chambered for it.

(4) You know the difference between a centennial and a bodyguard J frame.

(5) You carry full power .357 Magnums in a revolver with less than a 3" barrel.

(6) When asked why you carry a snubbie when there are small(er) semi autos that carry more ammo you reply that if you can't get it done with 5 or 6 rounds 15 wont help you.

(7) Even though you replied with #6 you carry two snubbies since if you empty the first snubbie you can draw the other one faster than you can reload the first one.

(8) You know what a Bloodwork snubbie looks like.

(9) You know that Colt made a revolver named the Magnum Carry.

(10) You carry a L or N frame snubbie in a normal basis.

(11) You actually own a X frame snubbie and you have shot it more than once.

(12) Your first choice in a 9mm is a S&W 940 or a Ruger SP101.

(13) You know what a Fitz Special looks like.

(14) The name John Henry Fitzgerald means something to you.

(15) You cried when in the book Ghostman the main character tore up his Detective Special.

(16) You actually bobbed the hammer on a DA/SA revolver.

(17) You carry a speed loader and a speed strip.

Thanks for reading.
Except for # 2, 5, 10, 11, 12, 15. I am a Snubbie fanboy.

no to 11, 12, or 15. the rest are for the most part "Yes".

I guess I’m not a true fan since only #’s 1, 7 & 17 apply to me. Maybe I can get an honorary member ship with 6 model 36’s and 4 model 37’s, even if I consider # 16 a sin..

Yes to all except #10, 11, 12, 15, and 16. My favorite snubbies are S&W J frames.

And gents.. these above are NOT even my best ones.

I shoot weekly. I reload my own ammo, and I've been in IDPA/IPCS for decades. I can also shoot with either hand (and I am NOT ambidextrous.)

Just got a Kahr K9 to play with and yea, it's a real good semi-auto. But snubs will always have a serious defensive use in my life.

If those shown aren't your best ones, I would like to see the ones that are!

I'm planning on photoing a bigger 'wheel' soon!

But my oldest 66 2 1/2 combat magnum, 639 body guard, Colt DS, S&W 3 inch Custom Service 686, and others including my N frame snubbies, are not in that photo.

That was an awesome list by the OP! good2.gif

I will submit a few more, just for shins and grits... :)

18) You watch "Manhunter" with William L. Petersen specifically for the presentations of the Charter Arms Bulldog.

19) You know where Tony Baretta (Robert Blake) packs his two .38 snubbies.

20) "100-Yard Pocket Pistols" is your all-time favorite article from Guns & Ammo (the S&W Model 36 figured prominently)

.

I count half of 3 - don't own one, but did read Duke and Taffin going some rounds about the caliber. Do I get extra credit if I OWN an old G&A with one of the pro-.44 articles that Duke wrote? :D

4) - yep
5) - not even if I owned one...!
9) - in passing at least....
12) - as much as I love my LCR, I'm glad Charter didn't get their 9mm Bulldog out in a timely fashion....
13 & 14 - double yep!
17) - yet to find a really satisfactory way to pack a loader, but carry a strip in my Tuff Products holster (and try to practice with them, using snap caps).

What's sad is.......

....... I'm not really a snubby guy and I can identify with a lot of those! I really need to get a life and quit hanging out on gun forums!

For what it's worth, after going through a few snubs, the wife and I have one each. We settled on a Ruger Security Six for her and a Ruger Speed Six for myself. Both stainless and of the 2 3/4 flavor.

crap...looks like I need to go to meetings. Hi My name is Marc and I have a snubnose problem. 1,3,5,6,7,9, (not 10 because I carry a 6" 44 that I can drive tacks with to 30 yds and hit golfballs to 50), (counting 12 because my preference for 40sw is a Taurus 405, and my preference for a 380 is the mini-revolver), 16 (Arminius, it isn't too much of a sin to destroy a $69 beater)

#21 you know the difference between 38s&w, 38spl, and 38 New Police
#22 you know the interchangeable rounds in 32 and 38 caliber
#23 you know that 38spl snubs are by design intended to be on target at 7 yards using 158gr ammo
#24 you own multiple guns which use the same speedloader
#25 you even know that an I frame exists, let alone what it is
#26 you get a bit giddy when Reid on Criminal Minds unholsters his Model 66

In 35 years of pistol shooting I've never owned a snubby, that is until last week when I spotted a pristine Colt Agent in the used gun case.
Took it out for the first time yesterday and now I'm hooked.
Absolutely love the thing. It's light and accurate. The whole time I was shooting it I kept saying to myself " Just the facts mam" and " Book em Dano".

I would add - you seek out J frames in 32 HR mag or 327 mag! That's advanced snubbitis!
