I have a Century M70B1 that when I shoot it the selector keeps creeping up. At around 5 or 6 rounds it engages the safety. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if you had any fixes.

I did a search but couldn't find much.

Clear it and check it to make sure it is clear.
Remove the cover and sit it aside.
Rotate the safety up until it is 90 degrees from its origianl positon.
Place both hands on the reciever and both thumbs on the safety and firmly push outboard.
Rotate safety to its original postion and move it back and forth as a test.
Repeat as necassary.

Try this too!

Once you have your safety adjusted that makes working it with your trigger finger easy and with only minor adjustments to your grip hand.

Check the underside of the safety lever for the little detent nub. If it's not completely worn off, you can try either bending the safety lever toward the reciever a little bit to put more tension on the detent; you can also take a very small drill bit and drill in a new/deeper detent divot for the nub to sit in.

If the nub is gone (unlikely?), or you can't get the lever to bend, or you find any other excuse, a replacememt can be bought from any number of places.

The lever on my Saiga is actually far too stiff and doesn't move easily enough.

For a safety that's too hard you can slip a small piece of tubing over the end.

Agree that bending the safety in slightly will get you better engagement.

I'm sorry I misunderstood your original post.
Yes you can bend it back, and yes you can find the little detent and with a punch and a ball peen deepen it to provide increased resistance.
