Hey guys! I recently bought the above rifle. After a thorough cleaning it seems to chamber and eject rounds satisfactorily.
My question pertains to the finish on the stock. That finish has me wondering whether it is good as to being adequate as a protective finish.
I would also like a little more sheen as opposed to the flat matte as delivered.
I'm a rank amateur, as I have never put a finish on a stock and don't really want to.
Would a paste wax be advisable? Tung or linseed oil?
