Zastava m77 magazine mods?

I am getting one of these from a friend for a good price and I was wondering if anyone has done the mag mod to a thermold m14 magazine? I feel like doing the mod to a plastic mag would be easier than doing it to the metal ones.

Yes but 40 bucks vs 15 bucks and some elbow grease I will pick the elbow grease all day

I modified couple M14 $13 aftermarket mags for M77. M14 mag length is just about the length of mag opening, some folks made the mod by cut a slot on mag body for front locking "tab", not pretty at all! I did it differently, the M14 mag is narrower at the front, so I smash the top front a bit to make it a little shorter, but bit fatter, doesn't take much. Silver solder a sheet metal locking tab. Works well! The follower needs enforcement since bolt smashes on it and locks bolt open! I enforce the follower with epoxy soaked fabric.
