My FFL showed me a price list from this company, ZERO. Prices seemed pretty good. He buys their mixed reloads, which consist of mixed brass. He said he hasn't had any problems with the ammo.
Does anyone have any experience/comments with ZERO ?
thanks

Never heard of them. But when I first saw this thread, I thought you meant that your ammo cabinet was empty....DOH!

Zero ammo is ok.

It is just standard run of the mill range ammo. Never had a problem other than a few split nickel cases in .38 special.

It is about the same as BK ammo and a whole lot better than (american ammo (tm)

Zero has been around for a LOOOOONG time. It's good average range/plinking ammo.

I worked at a range years ago and we bought several hundred thousand rounds with good results.

It's ok stuff if you just want to burn a lot of ammo for target work. I've shot lots of the stuff in .38 special. A mild mid range load. It's not the cleanest around, but it isn't especially dirty either.

You will find a few more misfires on average than you will factory fresh ammo. You also need to pay attention and inspect the ammo prior to loading it...actually something that everyone should do even with factory fresh ammo.

I've worked with the Dept of Corrections in Oklahoma and now work with DOC in Florida. Zero ammo was used by both departments for practice/qualifications. I suspect a lot of agencies use this ammo.

I'd trust it more than the average gun show vendor reloads.

I shot a bunch of Zero brand .38s back in the mid-90s after I got my Model 15. I never had a problem with it. I haven't shot any in several years, but only because my local supply dried up. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it if I ran across it.
