The head stamp is listed from a company in AL
"Zero Ammunition Company, 1601 22nd Street, S.E., Cullman, Alabama 35056-1188"

Is this place still in business and has anyone ever used their ammo?

I buy their bullets all the time but have never used their completed ammunition.

I have to think they are still in buisness. I bought some last summer. I bought it at a police supply shop, they have a pretty good ammo turn over.
Accuracy I cant say. we use it for plinking in a Contender once in a while with no issues.

Eric:

So I take it you've been pretty happy with Zero bullets? They look good and I've got some on order but haven't used them yet (just received some .45 230 JHPs in the mail yesterday). My range doesn't allow cast :( and I like to shoot stout loads in my magnum calibers and they're a good alternative (and close enough in price) to plated that I'm giving 'em a shot. From what I've seen, they look just fine and for the price a very good deal.

About zero ammunition, I have no idea but I would imagine it's solid.

The have a web site but I couldn't get to the store to check the prices. Apparently they also have reloads as well.

Yes I am very happy with them I order bullets from powder valley although I have not gotten any lately. I ordered 10k a year or more ago. I shoot .356 jacketed bullets 135gr for my 38 super. So far the bullets weigh with in 1 gr of each other and the dia. all measure with in .001 infact I have random measured about 100 bullets and only a couple were not right on the money. Zero bullets to me are the best in all areas including price. I will for ever fail to understand why folks but bullets from the big name companies and pay up to twice as much for bullets when there is nothing wrong with the quality from zero. I watch powder valey and they run out frequently but the prices are the best.

i discover some 180 gr rifle bullets that came from them, probably 10 boxes in the back of my locker, my 300wsm hates boattail bullets, so i am gonna see how these fly, not to many choices q/ the bare shelves at the local stores.

I have fired about 7k of them in 9mm, 38, and 357 with absolutely no problems. I'm lucky enough to pick some up locally as my dealer carries them and they are reasonably close to what i would pay shipped. Both the JHP, and FMJ have been great for me and shoot alike in everything I have fired them in. If I didn't cast so much, they would be all that I would buy.

Zero bullets

Zero Bullet Company is still very much in business. Alot of security guard companies use their ammo to qualify. They also sell alot of reloads to law enforcement agencies. These agencies use them for practlce or to quallify with. Alot of stores in Alabama sell their reloads. I have never heard of a problem with Zero reloads. They sell good because they are inexpensive and reliable.

That makes sense. I just got through sorting the .38 brass, (a lot of it), I picked it up after the classes at the range. The classes were for the state house security guards as well as most of the other guards in public buildings. While talking with the instructors they said all of the guards carry .38 revolvers only and that they have to qualify once a year.
It's too bad they don't have to qualify with the .45 LC. I'd be well off by now. :D
