Zero Bullets for pistol

Are they any good?

Powder Valley sells them, and they are pretty inexpensive. They are a little less than Rainier at Midway. I don't want to get into casting and would like to stay with jacketed bullets for my pistols even for plinking and practice.
 
They are good bullets. I don't think you will find a cross word against them.

But if you have the space, I would recommend you at least consider casting. You can start for around $70 if you shop around.
 
I've thought about it, but my reloading time is limited as it is.

Plus, isn't cleaning of barrels made more difficult using lead? Or am I making that up because I don't know any better?
 
Zero has been in the bullet business for a long time and my experience has been that they're good bullets.

Unless you're shooting high speed rifle loads, it's not a problem. Most pistol leading is easily removed with a bore brush... or a cartridge full of cream of wheat. A .45/9mm/40 will probably show no leading at all, or at least not enough to really notice.

I understand about not having the space, but I know that I have probably saved more money directly by casting than reloading in .45 and .310 bullets alone!
