Has anyone ever heard of one? Imported by CAI(Century Arms?)

Coach gun with a 20" barrel. I actually got to talk to a gun buff that was visiting the same shop and he enlightened me a little bit to it, he said "it's a Chinese copy of a Russian copy of an American Gun". He also told me that if he remembered correctly it was based on a Remington design.

NIB for 179 and the wife thought it was "cute" so I put it on layaway. I do believe the guns that she thinks are "cute" are going to break me one day...But it'll be alright.

I don't know that I'd trust it. Main problem with a cheap double gun is usually proper barrel regulation. Might hit anywhere if not done right. I know the Russian (if it's Baikal) is a good shooting gun, but I don't know if I'd go Chinese, to be frank. Up to you, though, not a lot of money if you don't like it I suppose.

No experience with the gun at all, but call me a skeptic.

I have a Chinese coach gun,as well as a Chinese o/u. The coach gun was flawless except the stock broke after one too many times firing both barrels at the same time on purpose. Bought replacement wood but it's beyond my ability to reinstall it.
