Thanks BBQ, I was on my tiny phone away from home and couldn't see it well. I appreciate the info!
I've seen all kinds of numbers for 124gr bullets with the BE-86, some in the 4.6gr range, but as far as accuracy goes 5.5 has been just incredible for me. After 20 shots it's just one ragged hole about 2' wide! Just love the stuff.Range update: Was able to shoot a few today.
9mm STAR30M 4.33 inch barrel
Xtreme 124gn FMJ bullets OAL 1.160
F-C Brass, TuLammo SPP
86 degrees and humid
LD SD/ES Average
5.4 11/32 1083
5.5 12/27 1110
5.6 15/34 1116
Shot 5 each for 5.4 and 5.5 and 10 of 5.6, the best accuracy was with 5.5 and 5.6. will go back and repeat with 5.5 and 5.6 with larger sample size to confirm data. These were 10yd shots with Chrono at 5yd line.

Don't have any experience with zero bullets so unaware if they are lead, plated, fmj. But I have used 124 gr data, 1 gr in the bullet weight will not make a difference for plinking/target loads. This thread is HUGE and a bit overwhelming. I received 1000 9mm Zero 125 grain JHP and I have a pound of BE-86.
Alliant wants me to use 5.8 grains seated to 1.12 inches.
I can go with that, but why when I got you guys? J/K
Anyway I know some of you guys are developing loads, they are here somewhere in the 600+ posts. Must be some 9mm data 125 grain JHP loads here somewhere././././. shuffles through thread looking for posts
I am using a short barrel SR9c and I have been seating these bullets to 1.10 inch.
The post right before you made this one, 125gr Precision Delta JHPs, 1.100" OALThis thread is HUGE and a bit overwhelming. I received 1000 9mm Zero 125 grain JHP and I have a pound of BE-86.

Looking forward to your results. Also planning on buying 2K more of the Precision Delta 124gr JHPs. 2K gets the price down quite a bit. Yeah, gettin' old ain't for sissies!I bought 2k Precision Delta JHP so that is my next venture with BE86 since I'm on my feet again. (knee surgery that went bad).
I had to pay for the surgery myself completely so I won't be buying the chrony that I have been pining for, for a while but I'm a patient man so it's coming.
I still have to rely and my shooting skills (scary) but right now, as in the past, that's all I have.
I'll post pictures as soon as I can get to the range. I was there about a week ago and did well for not shooting for 6 months, but had to leave due to pain, but I got my knee shot up and it's doing much better.
I'm getting stoked again and am getting excited again about, well, just plain living again without being in constant pain.
It just plain sucks to get old.
Hey welcome, that's what I've found, it's like some other powders in that it likes to be pushed. I use another one for that, Autocomp, it's just like BE-86, it does okay in lower charges, but performs amazingly well when pushed to max or slightly above. Thanks LeftyTSGC and arisch! I've found that this powder is most accurate when loaded at its upper end. I believe your results show agreement with what I've found.
Definitely my favorite 9mm powder right now...
