Anyone have a review of this bullet sold by Titan?
Link does not work.
Sorry for all the stupid questions. Been reloading shotshells for 30 years, just getting into pistol and rifle loads.Just to help you out. That "blue stripe" is the bullet lube.
Not really new. I have reloaded metallic cartridges off and on for years with my uncle. One flavor...270. He always did the purchasing and I would just fork out the cash. On my own now and getting into pistol cartridges.I purchased some of those for my new SCCY 380. I've only fired a few, but they were .355" and my barrel slugs at .355" so I got some fouling. I have some of that same design but coated on the way from Acme and I'll give them a try. I normally cast my own but I usually buy some bullets of the design I want to use before I buy a mold to see if my gun likes them. I would want my 380 Auto cast bullets a bit softer (11-12 BHN) and a bit larger (.356"-.357").
New to reloading metallic cartridges? Perhaps a copy of The ABCs of Reloading would speed up/ease the learning process.
There is a discount code for being a member?I have nothing against ACME but for me, at that price for lubed lead bullets, I rather get jacketed bullets for less from RMR, especially if you have any leading concerns.
RMR 95 gr FMJ comes to $71.25/1000 shipped with 5% THR discount (PM members for discount code) - https://www.rmrbullets.com/shop/bullets/pistol/9mm-355/380-95-gr-rmr-fmj-round-nose-bullets-new/
And FYI, RMR in-house manufactured jacketed bullets were consistent enough to be selected by ELEY for their centerfire match ammunition - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-match-ammunition.854750/page-3#post-11282439
PM sent of all the vendors offering THR discount. There is a discount code for being a member?
Thank youPM sent of all the vendors offering THR discount.
If you google acme bullets discount code, it's out there. Openly posted on a few forums so it's public domain. Worth it.PM sent of all the vendors offering THR discount.
Put a order in tonight to check em out. ThanksI have had good results with Brazos coated bullets. They sell their bullets in 15# bags and all bullets in any weight or caliber are $42 per bag. So the number of bullets per bag depends on bullet weight. I order 4 bags at a time, they can be different calibers or weights, doing that I get free shipping.
Here are the 380 bullets I use, a coated 95 gr. round nose. Their are 1106 per 15# bag, that equals to .038 cents per bullet.

Appreciate the tip but loading these for my girls to shoot out of m&p 380 ez.@Puddlejumper if you're going to be reloading for a Glock 42, I would highly recommend that you stick with either coated or jacketed bullets if you're using the stock Glock barrel. There are quite a few posts around the 'net about guys having issues with cast bullets (bare lead that is just lubricated) heavily leading Glock barrels, and especially the Glock 42.
I load a lot of ammo for my Glock 42, and haven't ever even tried to run lubed lead through it... just stuck to plated, FMJ, or powder coated.
Just something to consider in case you're shooting a Glock 42.
