Fondled both this morning at the local gun show and I honestly think I like the Springfield better. Anyone have experience with both and provide any insight between the two?

I handled both and liked the Hellcat better so bought it. I’m an XD fan so take that for what it’s worth. The extra round mattered to me too. Only thing of 365 I like better are the night sights. Took my Hellcat to range yesterday and was not disappointed. Shoots really nice. Trigger was good. Ergos good. I will probably put better night sights on it when some come out though. The front wasn’t that easy to pick up under the light at the range. Also don’t particularly like that rear isn’t tritium. Prefer 3 dot night sights. No malfunctions at all though in about 100 rounds.

I will say, shoot them both side by side first.

The P365 trigger is so much superior to the Hellcat's that it's just not funny. Better sights as well. (Dislaimer: I own 2 365s and a 365XL and have only put a little over 72 rounds through the Hellcat)

The P365 fit my hand like a glove. The sights are fantastic also. I’ve never been a fan of the high bore axis on the Springfield guns. I imagine it’s very snappy in a gun that small and light.

Bought two 365s; wife got one for Christmas..............with the 12 round mag, it just fits my hands perfectly and for a gun this small, it shoots my preferred Speer Lawman 124s just fine.

The Hellcat actually has a lower bore axis than the P365, FWIW. Reports are that the Hellcat is a tiny bit snappier than the P365, though. Some claim it's less. It's just really not a factor in deciding between the two.

I'm going to buy one of these pistols next week. My LGS has both in stock at very good prices. My initial fondling of both of them had me liking the Hellcat just a bit better. I liked the trigger slightly better on the Sig and liked the Sig sights better, and I think the Sig is a better looking pistol. But the one extra round and better choices in magazines...

The differences are just too tiny to declare one better than the other.

I normally carry either a G19 or an M&P40c and began carrying my old XDS 40 recently to see if I really needed a smaller carry gun, and if it would encourage me to be more consistent in carrying. The XDS 40 is about identical in size to the Hellcat and P365, but only has 6 rounds, which is why I stepped up to the M&P40c, which holds 10, but is significantly larger.

Yesterday, I went to take my dog for a walk and looked at the choices sitting on the counter. I grabbed the XDS, slipped it into a Remora holster, and tucked it IWB and walked out the door. A block later, I was alarmed by a large pitbull that was throwing itself against the flimsy chain link fence of it's yard. New tenants that I hadn't seen before, and the angry pitbull and a primered and lowered Honda Civic out front were indicators of people with less than common sense. I was comforted by the XDS, but would have felt better with twice as many rounds.

I really won't know which pistol I'll choose until I choose it, and I can't fault anyone for choosing either over the other.

I waited over a year after the P365 was released before I got mine. The bugs had been worked out by then, and mine works well. No issues. I am waiting at least that long before I even consider the Hellcat...but it's on "The List".

I would probably go with the P365 as the frame is a much more comfortable fit to me and I really like the trigger on it as well.

Shot a P365 and liked it a lot. I recently handled a Hellcat and liked the feel. Trigger was better than my XDs, and it fit my hand just a bit better then the P365. I like the sights on the Sig better.

Honestly I just don’t know if I like either more than my P938 though.

I carry a G19, 43X on occasion, sometimes the Kimber Pro Carry and finally a Taurus G2C when it’s hot out. Had a Kel-Tec P3AT for pocket and rarely carry a G27. Sold the Kel Tec a while ago and the G27 is just a bit too big for pocket carry.

I have so many IWB/OWB options but really want one that I can throw in a pocket holster and go on occasion. That’s why I was interested in the 365 and He’ll Cat.

Brought the P365 home and lubed it up for the range. Will take it out tomorrow for a work out with 115 grain FMJ, JHP, some 124gr Sig ammo along with 147gr Federal JHP and see how it performs.

Ended up getting a 12 round mag for $32 OTD. The BX had them for $52 which was a bit too much based on whats out in the web but I had a $20 gift card for past purchases and decided to use that towards the mag.

Will most likely be a pocket carry during hot weather or as a BU to the full size during cold weather. Have a long way to go on the range before I put it in the 'ready to carry' category.

I have a P365
I have only handled a Hellcat.

The P365 is tough to get a good grip on and the layout makes it difficult to avoid the controls.

The Hellcat feels like I can gat a better grip on it and the control layout gives more space for large hands. I have not yet fired one however.

I would of course shoot both before buying but if I was shopping today the Hellcat would be the lead canidate.

Since the Hell Cat wasn't available locally I went with the 365 first. I'm sure I'll grab a Hell Cat when I find one at a decent price locally and see which one I like better.
