I wish Ruger had put a better front sight on the gun. I only do fast point and shoot with my 380's and need a good front sight to see in the Peripheral view of my eyesight. At 15 yds it was hard for me to really get a good picture with the Ruger.. And if I was for what ever reason wanting to carry the gun, a front night sight is a must for me.
The Pico and Kahr are good examples of nice sights. And I have night sights on all of those. At 7 yds it is no problem with the Ruger but going further out takes a more eye straining.Just really hard to pick up the front sight.
I do not think at this point, reliability will be much of a issue. I have not even tried and CCI yet. It shoots Remington Goldens fine, other than a occasional light strike which could be the ammo. All major failures I had came from the mixed bag of ammo I had brought and they all had a "F" head stamp. Which Federal, I do not know.
I also have a Mcarbo extra power spring which I have not put into the gun yet.
I also notice they have a EXtra power Magazine spring. At this point I do not feel any need for that.

PS-I also see mcarbo has a trigger pull reduction that that brings the trigger from 5- 6 lbs to about
3lbs and Under. Personally I think that is
Insane for this gun.I personally would not advise it. Trying to make a Pocket gun into a Target gun just does not make any sense. And especially dangerous.
I really wish Ruger had put in a trigger like the LCP Gen 2 (not to be confused with LCPll) would have been great. The LCP now sold has a very good DAO that does work like a good DOA. Smooth and consistent all the way through.
