GOA is a good organization
SAF does a lot of work no one really sees, but they have won many cases in the courts where it counts.
So true and many gun owners don't realize all the legal battles we have won at state/federal levels over the decades, especially for California because legal win for gun rights are often not covered by the media or very short-lived.
Gun Rights Orgs to join other than the NRA? ... who is the most effective? ... open to suggestions.
Legal battles cost A LOT of money in the millions and NRA-ILA (Legal arm of NRA) has pursued and won more/significant legal challenges than any other organization/foundation. So donating to NRA-ILA is the most effective in building the "war chest" of legal battle for gun rights against anti-gun crowd who have DEEP pockets -

Who do you think fought/funded the recent historic/monumental Supreme Court case win for Bruen that expanded Heller ruling to expand gun rights outside of home? Yup, NRA-ILA and now Bruen ruling is going to affect gun rights cases all across the country at various federal District/Circuit/Appeals courts and state courts, law enforcement agencies and even at county/city council levels. (Elections have consequences so be sure to donate to 2A supporting law makers/candidates and spread the word to all the gun owners you know to vote for pro 2A in 2022/2024)
CRPA is CA state wing of NRA and has pursued numerous legal battles (Through Cal Gun Foundation) where many of country's anti-gun laws have originated ("featured" rifle ban, magazine ban, etc.) and these cases are at the forefront of our 2A legal battle, now at national level affecting every state post Supreme Court's Bruen case ruling -

And California Gun Rights Foundation has been very busy over the decades WINNING gun rights legal battle in CA. Here are some of gun rights wins and accomplishments -

More recently, Firearms Policy Coalition has been kicking some major legal butts in the manner of "Revenge of the gun rights organizations/gun industry/gun owners" to strike back at the anti-gun crowd -

And there are many other gun rights organizations/foundations that are fighting the gun rights battle against the antis but the way I see it, what's happening is like the D-Day invasion where allies came together to battle against
common enemy.
So, pick one, two or all of them to donate your money.
I support the NRA and the Second Amendment Foundation.
Don't be fooled. The NRA is a good and strong organization and it's important we keep it that way
Divided we fall (That's what the antis want us to do ... Heck no we won't
).
Together, we are much much stronger.
