I didn’t know what the gun is, or what makes it unpopular.

But saw photos a few seconds ago. Unusual, and does anybody here own a Steyr M9?: the Austrian gun sometimes called “What the Glock” wanted to be. This Steyr looks odd.

Do most of you -not- have any divided Action Pistol ranges, which you can use all by yourself, and Also be treated as a responsible adult by the (supervisors) Golf Cart Nanny State?

Tomorrow or the next day I will drive to the range in my 52-year-old pickup truck. It is painted with bedliner and has a homemade wooden flatbed. I will use my bright pink ear muffs because they work better than the yellow or black ones. I am 6'6" and very noticeable in a crowd. I'll probably be wearing my unusual Italian municipal worker's jacket (surplus).

If I bring my Hi-Point carbine, or H&R revolver from 1912, or... a Taurus (gasp!), anyone who speaks to me nicely is welcome to shoot a few rounds through it.

I've lived my entire adult life like this. If I've ever been openly mocked in public, I didn't hear it (and wouldn't have cared).

I owned a first gen S40. It was a cool gun. The grip angle and low bore axis made the 40 feel like a 9. I sold it when I liquidated a big part of my collection. I'd like buy an A2 if I could find one.
