How can anyone “Like” that post???I did it again fellas.
Loaded up my Square Deal hopper with ½-¾lb of #9 to load some test 10mm and forgot to tighten down the clamp.
Pulled the handle and, away it goes! Hits the floor and sprayed powder EVERYWHERE!!
My brother has a RCBS Chargemaster powder dispenser. He was loading one night and emptied the dispenser. I told him it would make a big mess if you didn't close the drain plug.
Sure as heck a couple of days later he filled up the hopper and it wasn't closed. He had it on the side of the table when he emptied it and when he refilled it he had a bunch of powder all over the floor.
Maybe pin a note to the hopper, “Tighten the clamp, dummy!” ?
Just use a shop vac you can recover most of it and then of course there will be posts on to use a vacuum or not!
I’ve done the same dang thing. After the first time I did this

In areas of static electricity and/or poorly grounded electricity, one may find out the hard way.
And away we go!
A match would make short work of most of it....I haven't even cleaned it up yet, just walked away

Don't you mean skated away? The last time I spilled powder it was slick, but that was on concrete.I haven't even cleaned it up yet, just walked away
Probably more likely than asking for and getting coal the way things are LOL.I wasn't quite that upset !
Maybe Santa will bring me another bottle
