WOW this thread went south in a hurry.
I own many different types of pistols in different calibers. Glock is no better or no worse than other big manufacturers. And I won't hesitate to use a Glock clone or aftermarket slides on a Glock frame as long as everything is made correctly. When it comes to slides, I look at tolerance and how they fit the frame rails along with barrel to slide fit. Another important thing is that the slide is properly heat treated.
While I do own quite a few Glocks and Glock clones to include 80% builds, I still prefer the Canik pistols over Glock. The Canik's are well built, accurate and have a way better trigger than any Glock I have ever shot or owned. I have went down the rabbit hole when it comes to trying different triggers, connectors, and springs in my Glocks.
As far as the PSA Dagger goes, as long as it is made properly, within allowed tolerances, and all metal parts are properly heat treated then they will be fine and last as long as any other brand.
