I seem to end up with odd lots of reloading supplies and equipment from garage or estate sales, or from Craigslist or social media sites. It'll end up being just to get a die set or a mold, and I end up with the whole pile. I try to keep track of what's there, advertise some of the unneeded stuff for sale, and sell individual items pretty regularly. I did go buy 4 sets of dies from a guy, just to save a dollar and a half off of one of the sets, but unopened rcbs die sets are hard to pass up. Those extra sets became birthday presents for a few friends.
I also am known in my friend circle as the local reloading nut, so I get lots of requests for gear and components. So I don't sweat it if I end up with stuff I don't immediately need, but I'm too much of a tightwad (Scottish heritage) to buy new stuff at full price that I don't have a use for...
