I took a 1 on1, 6 hour course for carbine and pistol training with Luke from Green ops in VA in late February 2024.
I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Luke taught me a lot and I walked away with what I needed to practice, and felt way more comfortable with my AR and pistol.
6 hours is a lot of time to spend with one person. I was drained after the class. If you are new, intermediate or advanced I would highly recommend a 1 on 1 class with and Green ops instructor.
On 3.18 I took a group defensive carbine class and I was able to see all the things I have practiced from Luke pay off. I did get more out of the 1 on 1 class because it was individualized for me, but I did walk away better after the group class.
Not only did I walk away better and have a full list of what I need to work on for dry fire and at the range, but these guys were cool. The were not full of theirselves and never made me feel stupid to ask questions.
We all spend out hard earned money to take these classes and the last thing we want is to feel stupid. So thank you green ops for an amazing experience. I have trained with 4 other companies before, and I plan to keep taking green ops classes.
I have already signed up for an advanced pistol course in July and will be signing up for an advanced carbine class in October.
I felt safe at the range and Green ops is looking to create a community for anyone who has trained with them. I am looking forward to my next two classes coming up with them
