My wife does not shoot a lot. I was tinkering with my 10/22 take down and she saw it. She ended up with it and enjoys it. Today we shot probably 250 rds. Her with the take down, me with my old wood stock 10/22.
I really enjoy period correct firearms. Love to shoot my 1851 navies in .36 cal and my 1860 armies in .44 cal. However the adjustable sights on the Pietta Remington '58 make trying different loads and sighting in easier. I keep notes on what I load and where the sight sits.
All are excellent answers. I guess when I bought my 10/22 ten years ago (first .22 period) I got it due to price. It was on sale. Now it has been accurate and served me well except for not liking certain ammo. I shoot black powder mostly, seldom do I shoot modern.
