Im ready to get a new 1860 and i was wondering who had the best deal right now?

Cabelas had one last time i went up there for $250.

Are there any coupons or anything i can take in with me when i go? or if there is some where online i can get one cheaper?

Best deal?

Best on a Uberti? (found at your friendly Taylors, S&S, or Cimmaron)

Best on a Pietta? (found at your friendly Cabelas and better Walmarts, which tells you what they are worth IMHO, which is an opinion that I know others don't share, but that I hold)

BEST? (which is neither of the above, but would be the result of some diligence and patience on Gunbroker looking for something that has not been made in a while)

There's a lot of variability in these. The "Best Deal" might not be the cheapest one...

I agree Will, go with the Cimarron or Taylors, never had a bad one yet and always super smooth actions and triggers. I can't say the same about Cabelas or Walmart.

Cabelas usually puts them on sale before Christmas. I paid around $179 sometimes with free shipping for my last one.
Bought a 1858 Remmy on sale and with free shipping and a $20 off coupon for signing up for their credit card and paid $159 shipped to my door.

I recently picked up a Uberti from Midway for $279.99 (using their $30 off on a $300 purchase code). Great shooter, BTW.

Check around really thoroughly. There is an 1861 on GB that I was interested in. It said it was a Uberti that came from Luna Antique Firearms Co. The add said to go there for additional pictures, I did. The exact same pistol was for sale there for $250. Didn't sell and was moved to GB I guess. Bid is now $270. Wish I had seen it on the other site first. It is now marked "sold" on the other site.
