Unrifled adapters exist, they just have become increasingly uncommon (a decade back they were almost the norm)
But with more and more people doing pistol type things with it the market demand has been pushing towards rifled on everything
Round 2 with epoxy reinforcement worked. frame failure is likely a result of the adapter just not being glued into the barrel.
As soon as I can scrounge up another set of materials I'll build one that is just glued with no side reinforcing.
I remember that gun, it was an intertec pro-tec derringer (32 acp If i recall correctly)
he had it in a hollowed out kaiser roll....
Anyone got an intertec they want to sell me ;)
It appears that there was a two screw iver johnson model.... never seen it before, don't know what its called, but pics exist.
Anyone know what to search for when looking for one?
I think I'm going to try to line a presentation case for the pistol with a mix of baby seal fur, maybe some...
I was told they fit some kind of iver johnson.... but I'm not convinced,
I will take more pictures and measurements when they show up (i just bought them).
Thoughts? Speculations?
