I saw a decent selection of bulk .22 at an LGS in SE PA. It was between $0.07 and $0.10/ round. I have enough that I didn't get too excited or buy any, but I was definitely pleased to see any in stock.

Not true. Permit is required for carry in a car in PA. From Handgunlaw.us: "Open Carry is legal except a valid permit/license is needed to carry a loaded firearm openly or concealed in a vehicle and for openly carrying in the city of Philadelphia."

Sorry, this is the Pantano case that was pending in the NJ Supreme Court.

And there it is... NJ Supreme Court speaks: The court issued an Order stating “This matter having been duly considered, and the Court having determined that Certification was improvidently granted; it is Ordered that the within appeal is dismissed.”...

It appears to be awaiting argument. Other than financial reasons or issuance of a permit, I don't know why it would be dropped at this point.
