    9 MM or 40 S&W

I have to agree with everyone. All that matters type of ammo you carry in your CCD.

    Remington 870 express

dakota: Sound like you hit on the head. Never thought this was the reason for the screws.

    Remington 870 express

I recently got a remington 870 express used at an auction. Was wondering what the pins that hold the trigger should be. This one has hex head threaded screws. The receiver isn't threaded.

What should I pay for this work???

Anyone know what a Baikal OU is worth these days? Picked one up at an auction a couple of years ago and it's just a safe queen.

    What About the 590?

I own one of each, the 870 stays in the truck and the 590 is for home defense. Both are great guns, but I prefer the 590.

Scored 152 pounds of lead for $45.00

Casting your own bullets, cutting your own patches, and the making smoke is one of the great pleasures to shooting a flintlock. Same as Jay29, lots of guns in the cabinet, but prefer BP above anything else.

Inertia Bullet Puller vs. Black Powder Dumb Question

When loading a 45LC case with BP, would using a drop tube help as loading a 45-70?

    Walker arbor lube?

I like to use TC Super Lube. Also use it on the nipples. Doesn't break down under the heat. A tube will last for a long time.

    Uberti grips

Does anyone else think the finish on Uberti grips looks to shiny. If the pistol was in a case it would look great. But to look true to an original wouldn't they be treated with a good wood oil? I strip mine and treat with Danish Oil and a good paste wax.

    Uberti 1860 Army

Thanks everyone. Ordered the Uberti from Buffalo Arms and the Big Brown Truck should drop it off tomorrow. Now where to get extra fluted clyinders, or does it matter?
