I've come to the same conclusion too. I love shooting my 10/22 and 22/45... need a revolver and bolt action .22 at the very least as well. I have more "serious" caliber guns I want too... but my 10/22 I think is my favorite to shoot.

This started happening to me today on my 10/22... the action screw on the bottom was working loose. Tightened it up and went back to respectable 3" groups at 100yds(for a bone stock 10/22 I'm happy with that).
