yes I had paper hull that had been stored in a shed for years squib, just more than a pop. IIRC there was 3-4 of them from a couple boxes, old peters I think.

I prefer RD for cast slugs in my .380, 9mak, 9mmPara .357 and .45acp. shoots cleaner for me, and it's low flash also.

I'm unsure about this but was'nt the 30-30 designed as a bush gun to begin with? basically a limited range heavy hitter with quick follow up shot (s). an interesting topic though. the 125gr may not be adequate for quartering shots on larger deer. at past say 100 yds in brush?

'lswc' is a cast slug then? seems to be a good load. BE is good for cast slugs IMO.

trade it if possible for #5. 7 is a .357mag powder.
