picking up brass, getting older, maybe wiser?

You drive $100k worth of vehicles and are picking up $27.57 worth of brass? Is it becasue you like to reload or because you can't afford new brass because of the $$$ invested in vehicles? lol  I would go with one of the devices like CC posted, or maybe if you're a high roller...

What do have waiting for you in the reloading room?

Even if I knew my furnace guy or bumped in to them at the range, they sure don't need to know all my business. Not even my family knows all of my business and they won't until after I die. As the kids say these days, "You do you though"! 😬 I did find a batch of .357 brass that needs...

    New Calipers (Have to Brag)

Has nothing to do with old stock. We found years later, even after they introuduced the Absolute version, this issue would pop it's ugly head up on occasion. You'd hope they'd have improved the manufacturing process over the years, but you know, the more things change, the more they don't. I'm...

What do have waiting for you in the reloading room?

I have an organized mess waiting in mine. The last few months I've just been piling all the other gun stuff from the basement in there, to move it all out of view of prying eyes, in case we had to have our decrepit old furnace replaced. So far we haven't had an issue, but will probably have...

    New Calipers (Have to Brag)

Give it a thorough verification of readings over along the entire range, . Years ago, there was a big recall on them because the scales were laid incorrectly and measurements were way off on the fractionals between whole numbers. The even whole numbers (1, 2, 3 etc.) would read/display ok, but...

Too Hot or Not 45 acp

Ya, if it's just the 46 units, the less than hour to pull and repack them to make sure you keep all your digits would be worth it in my book.

    Double cringe build

Looks like the old Ithaca I inherited from Grandpa (minus the broken butt stock). The gunsmith advised not to run heavy loads (over 1 ounce) through it, said the heat treating was not as good back then so the metal is not as strong. .

Who do you trust on the web

Some helpful info here--- https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/scam-reloading-websites.904761/ I stick to mainstream vendors online for the most part, as there's not much locally I can get.
