Funny you say that because I think .357 in anything less than 5" is pretty much pointless, unless it's loaded with some really fast burning powders. I'm glad we don't all like the same thing, or we'd be fighting over them constantly, and be in continuous agreement making the world a very boring...

L-frames are nice. Being able to shoot nuclear .357 all day is pretty awesome. The K-frames just really aren't up to it in my experience even though they are nice handling revolvers.

I saw on a thread on Beretta forum that these might be date coded 2004. That means that Beretta has been making 92S for the Italian police at least up until that time frame. Very interesting if true.
