    Lead Poisoning --Valuable Health Information

I was recently told by folks at an NRA conference that Dawn dishwashing soap, and similar, will do the same job of removing lead that the D-Wipes do when it comes to washing your hands. And one thing that I've not read here, being able to move the air is important but can you scrub the...

    Lead Poisoning --Valuable Health Information

An indoor range must be managed per the plan. What plan? The plan that you as a range owner / operator adopt as a part of your Standard Operating Procedures manual. Until ranges become more prototypical in their form and function they remain “special uses” and rather unique facilities. As...

    Car Holster

Concerned that a thief will see an empty holster and assume the gun is in the car and his desire to posses it will be a problem. It looks like it comes off easily I guess that's the solution. Car Holster Concept

    Need something to catch lead

I know this is not an option but it puts some context on the discussion. I just had a home builder (high end) call me yesterday about helping him...a customer of his wants an indoor range in the basement of the house. 25 yard. 2 lanes. Given that its for someone else, a homemade system...

    Need something to catch lead

AR500 but at a steeper angle than 45... Its stronger that way but you need more of it for coverage. I'm on engineer but figuring out how to stop the round and it remain somewhat contained is what the big boys like Meggitt and Action Target do. Just may not make sense to go through them for the...

    Shooting Expectations...and man-made objects

Now with +1000 round through my XD sub I've had a few (four) FTE. Most of the rounds are store bought reloads (couple of different brands) for purposes of shooting at the indoor range. For a while I've thought that's unacceptable and have the expectation it should never happen. Then I heard...

    Metro areas lacking indoor shooting

If you live in a metropolitan area, including suburban areas that surround (and including micro-politan cities / towns) and there's no place to shoot indoors, please respond with the zip code. "no place to shoot" includes zip codes that only have small poorly lit, low air quality facilities.

    Lead Poisoning --Valuable Health Information

With today's technology there's not excuse for poor air quality, flow, or low CFM's. It amazes me that indoor ranges maintain patronage. It can only be due to lack of knowledge on the part of the shooter. If they've never seen a clean range or a discussion like this, I suppose lead problems...

    Shooting range near Florence SC??

Indoor ranges that are clean and have both heat and air conditioning... Florence and also Charleston, SC? Seems like opportunities that need to be exploited. As well, Myrtle Beach...is there an nice range there, can anyone name one? We are scouting cities that could use a new facility.
