Glock 26, fit in a glock 36 holster?

I have a FIST#1 in Kydex that is molded for the G36. It fits my G19. Retention isn't as secure b\c the slide of the G19 is slightly thinner, but it works.

Price check on a Kahr P9

$550 sounds high to me for a used gun and I live in South Florida where gun prices are super inflated! However, my NIB stainless, P9 Covert was $569. The NIB stainless, full size P9 was $619. Compare that used $550 to what they are NIB in your area.

    Subcompact auto ?

Ditto. I've had mine for little over a week and have 600rds through it already. Had some FTE's during the recommended 200rd break in, but it's running smooth now. Haven't tried +P through it. I agree. I traded my G36 towards the P9.

    Glocks safe or not

Good post! My first pistol was a Glock 19. Bought it when I first turned 21 in '92. I still have it. Still shoot it. Carry it on occasion. Carried a Glock 36 for a year and recently switched to a Kahr P9 Covert (which has ZERO external, manual safety devices). As suggested above...

These guys think they know what's what

Great stuff!:D There is nothing more entertaining then reading posts about guns on a 'fast & furious' forum. Although reading about guns on a 'PC gamers' forum is equally as entertaining! :D On the same token there's nothing more scary than one of those guys actually owning a handgun!:uhoh:

Will Your CCW Handgun Change Once The AWB Ends ???

No change for me. Will carry my JFrame or compact .45. My Glock 19 came with 15 rounders and I only carry it occasionaly.

    Opinions, I need a 5-shot.

Gotta go with the 642. I bought used 642-1 a few months ago. It was already broken in. The trigger is sweet. The finish is kind of beat, but it shoots fine. Handles +P, light, many different grip options to customize fit, snagfree, etc. So far this summer, the 642 has kept my Glock36 in...

what autos have you tried and sold?

Ruger P85. Solid pistol but too big\bulky. Traded it towards a Glock19. Glock19. Really enjoyed it, but sold to my cousin. I was in college and needed $$$. SIGP239. Sweet pistol, fit well, really liked it. Sold it to fund the reacquisition of the Glock19 from my cousin. Beretta96...

Sig P229/239 question for owners of both

I used to have a 229 .40 and 239 9mm. The 239 was definitely smaller and easier to carry. Carrying the 229 wasn't out of the question, I carried it sometimes. I carried IWB. The 239 was always first choice. Of course, the difference for me was obvious (.40 double stack vs. 9mm single...

Workin' man's guns: Let's see your worn finishes.

1984 225. Bought it like this, the previous owner did all the 'work'. :D

    OK.....manual safety or no?

I agree. I learned how to shoot pistols on a DA\SA (RugerP85). Even though I enjoy shooting all types of guns, my CCW are DA\SA, no safety. My muscle memory says, "Draw, aim, pull the trigger". Right now, for me to switch to a CCW with a manual safety and to carry it with the safety on would...

    S&W Model 37 vs 442

I have a 642 (the satin nickel brother of the 442). I carry IWB or pocket. The 442 is perfect for pocket (at only 15oz). Yes it'll fit the bill. A 442 for <$300 is IMHO a STEAL depending on condition (got my 642 for $300, and it's pretty used but shoots great). DAO, hammerless is the...

    Thanks for the J frame

All that and you didn't post which model you bought! I recently acquired a 642 myself. It's great! I've been an auto guy as long as I can remember, but another wheelie (JFrame in particular) is in my future!
