I'm pretty sure its been modified. If I can restore it I will. I read that the barrel lenth on them was 26. This one is listed as 24 though, unless they made a carbine verson, but doubt it would be a 24" carbine. Please, unless it has already been butchered, don't destroy a P14. They are somewhat rare and really cool. The P14 is not a Remington or Eddystone, it is an Enfield. They were designed to replace the No1 MkIII rifle that had been in service with the British since the early 1900s. There were too few at the outbreak of WWI so the No1 MkIII was kept.
I’m in the process of building a 404 on a 98 Mauser about 80% finished it is a little work but doable.Yep, possibly 404 jeff as well. Of course I'm sure the longer there case more work it is, that's why I'm contemplating the rugers.

Lol, your thread earlier reminded me to call Shaw this morning.I have finally got the 404 J glassed and now I’m finishing the stock and working on a few feeding issues not big trouble but I’m doing a little work then trying it I did shoot it just to see if it works I must say next time I’ll put the recoil pad on before I shoot it or wear a coat or even a shirt. She lets you know you pulled the trigger.
