As someone that love the little Pocket guns, I had to have the little Kel-tec P32. 6 ounces? You have to be kidding right? I ordered one, had a good idea of what to expect to a degree. Have shot many Kel-tec 380's and owned four LCP's plus now own other pocket guns.
I ordered 100 rounds of Leheigh cavitator, another 50 of the Underwood Penetrator and a few boxes of standard ammo. But since they do not arrive until Monday, I could not wait. Headed off to the range and paid $16.00 for a Box of FMJ Fiocchi at the local LGS.
The little gun ate them all up. Since I shoot the pocket guns very often, this gun was a breeze to hit center mass at 7 yds and without any sights and shooting fast. Very Easy to shoot.
Actually felt like I was shooting my heavier 380 Pico. Just a little less recoil and again, half the weight.
The trigger was a little griddy but shot smooth. I am sure it will break in nicely. Smooth double action. Have to say, I was impressed with this Light Weight contender. Give me some time to put a few boxes of ammo down range and I feel I will be able to really do quite well up to 10 yds with this gun.
Mild, very little muzzle flip, and shot true to aim at point and shoot.
Not the build quality of the Pico for sure, but this gun is a tool and a good one. Normally I would not buy a aluminum chassis pocket gun again, but in 32.cal, I think is just the right caliber for this gun. I also have ordered the Gallaway 13# spring which I will put in to shoot the Plus P Underwood.
And I will say this unequivocally, I had a whole lot of fun shooting it.
DANG THIS GUN IS LIGHT!
Had a lot of fun shooting my LCR22 as well. Love the Aguila Interceptor ammo. And who say's Remington Goldens are not reliable? The LCR22 will beg to differ, especially since it ate 200 of them without fail.
