Thought I’ll show my AES-10 to y’all. I got bout 2 years ago, couldn’t afford a RPK so I got the next best thing. Now there’s 2 versions of these; the AES-10 was a long barrel wasr (a semi-auto Romanian AK for us civilians) and a PKP bipod, with RPK wood added. Then there’s the AES-10 B. Which was a legit RPK built in semi-auto and a proper RPK bipod. Some had wire stocks as well; those are a little rare. Now mine is the first, the bipod sadly makes it all catty-wampus and isn’t a very effective bipod. But it’s accurate and still fun to shoot with a drum mag. The club foot stock is easily the most comfortable stock I used so far. If I get a true RPK, I will turn this into a DMR type thing.

I had 2 AES-10 with factory bipods and still have 2 without. The factory muzzle mounted bipod is cool but muzzle bounces so much in shooting, Bipod is heavy and loose when shoot on rest without using it. I add a barrel rail mount that I can attach removeable bipod when I need, does not bounce as much and the feel is much better except the cool factor! It is my poor man's Dragunov and shoot affordable 7.62x39. The carry handle is cool, a big AK that get attention at the range! I don't think they are imported anymore.
