Original estimate was 90 days, so I'm just curious who else is or has recently been in the same boat waiting for a RA number from them.
Anyone else on the CMP Custom Shop waiting list -- 5 months and counting

From the time they got my order to delivery was just 30 days, Last year I got my first one in the same frame of time.
Write them an e-mail at [email protected] and ask about your order and the long delay.

I sent a e-mail request for an RA to have my M1 Carbine rebarreled, 18mos ago. Never heard back from them. Gave up...

Got a reply from the Custom Shop today with an explanation for part of the delay. Looks like I'm almost there now.
"You are going to be in the next issue of RA’s. Our shop has not issued any RA’s in a almost two months due to the National Matches in Ohio and the AMC courses we offer here at the shop. Both of which has meant short staffed and the reason we couldn’t take any rifles in. Thank you for your continued patience and allowing us to service your rifle."

Got my RA# via email today -- huzzah! Just waiting for their prepaid FedEx label to arrive and my Garand rebarrel project will finally be out the gate!
