Victorinox with a pocket clip

I added a pocket clip to a Swiss Army Knife I recently picked up. I popped the non-logo scale off the knife, aligned the used pocket clip I had, so the holes wouldn't interfere with the press fit section and drilled away. Then I forcefully drove the 3 screws in slowly, so I didn't drive the screws too far and strip the plastic threads I made. Putting the scale back on flush required me to stand on the knife, but I don't think that was related the the clip or screws I installed, just the tightness of the press fit. Without standing on the knife, I could see a gap between the scale and the knife.

I had to look on the internet to be sure, but I believe it's the Hiker model. I won a lot of 4 Victorinox knives off ebay last week and it's one of them. I got so used to carrying a "tactical" type knife aka Benchmade with a pocket clip that I decided to try adding one to one of the SAKs and so far it seems pretty sturdy and is more handy that having it swim around in my pocket.
