I've got a later "German Police" stamped model made for the US market and thankfully the ProMag 10 rounders work well in it so those are the mags I use at the range.When I originally sold my P6 I found a spare mag a year or two later in a box. Tried to sell it once but ended up just keeping it.
Handy once I got the 225
I was somewhat indifferent also, until I was able to handle and shoot one (German). You don’t truly realize how balanced and hand fitter one is until you’ve handled oneEh.

The trigger is what got me, at least on the new P210A. Its like melted butter on teflon-coated silk.....Its like a handier 1911.
I love the way the slide raises at the rear to support the rear sight
