I'm glad a friend had me in mind when he was in a Scheels recently. Got 5k Federal SPP for $69.99/k
That's overpriced. VV powders are selling at about the same as Hogdon, and certainly less than Titegroup

EVEN BETTER because their is a Cabelas about 20 miles from my house! My Prius gets 50 MPH and gas is $3.60 at costco!

Sportsmans is high right now, but Cabelas is not. X-Terminator at Sportsmans is $47.99, at Cabelas $31.99. Titegroup, $42.99 vs $31.99.
If people check prices and buy lower, Sportsmans will have to lower their prices. I think they just anticipated an increase that's not happening until there is more demand than there is supply, which is not the case right now. I see lots of powder available, and while some particular powders are high everywhere (over $50/lb), alternatives are quite low (~$30/lb).

X-Terminator apparently is the powder for 6x45. I'll pick up a pound to test if it's reasonable. I grabbed 6lbs of accurate 2015 in December for 41 so that's going to work for now.....

100 yds from my now scoped Marlin 336. I’ll never touch that with the factory sights or even the Williams peep sights I tried.
How’s the price on H335? That’s my other 30-30 powder and likely the only one I’ll look for other than the above mentioned Shooters World powders.

Thanks. That was the result of a lot of trial and error trying to find a nice plinking cast load for my 336 that I cools build as cheaply as possible. In the end I turned my 30-30 into a hot 9mm with only 6 round capacity. However inside 100 yards it’s minute of squirrel cranium.
