The cheat for solid sticks is to melt them in a bain-marie and pour them into the Lubrisizer’s well. Let it cool for just a few seconds before putting the cap back on. Works great and the solid sticks are usually cheaper.Ajc1 if you’re running that Lyman lube sizer you need hollow sticks
I've been in a heap of problem for less, make it count is my advice. I like the impaler.Got one o' them things up in the kitchen. If it showed up missing, I'd be in a heap of trouble.
I have the hollow sticks, but if I was making my own lube I'd warm and filler up as you describe. The lube is cheap on an each basis. The real cost is in gas checks. The cheat for solid sticks is to melt them in a bain-marie and pour them into the Lubrisizer’s well. Let it cool for just a few seconds before putting the cap back on.
