Family portrait of my two consecutive serial cap and ball Uberti Remingtons and Junior, my NAA "The Earl".

Ma and Pa get used on a pretty regular basis to shoot big clouds of smoke and take down dastardly steel cowboys gone bad at my club's monthly CAS matches.

My FNP's. One in .45ACP and one in .40S&W that I bought from a fellow HighRoader.

Yes, the .40 has grip tape on it. Yes, it needs it. Yes, it's a work gun. Yes, it keeps the recoil manageable.

No, I am not a photographer.

This is some mighty fine gun-porn fellas.. keep it rolling! I only wish I could contribute, but I doubt that bone-stock base model 12 gauges really are worth the time or effort lol. Can someone explain to me the term "brace" for matching guns?

P.S.
At my favorite LGS there is a "brace" of two custom ordered officer size Springfield 1911s with pearl grips, and a custom ordered Galco dual shoulder holster rig to go with them... selling the pair for $1299 I believe... drool on the glass every time I go there!

Brace of Handguns or other

Hello friends and neighbors // Impressive pics of some outstanding firearms everyone, I need a photography lesson lol.

I have some "Braces" among my shooters some "Traces?" too in the other catagory.

Heres to the enjoyment of collecting and mastering (or trying to)firearms.

1) bracemosswin.jpg Mossberg -bolt action -repeating shotguns- in .410 and .20ga. /// Winchester- bolt action -single shot rifles- in .22- 1935 model 69 & 1937 69a.

2) bracerem870wingmas1960.jpg Remington - slide action- repeating shotguns- in 12, 16 and 20 ga.- 870 Wingmasters -all three Tenth year (1960)
Please ignore the 1945 model 31 on the left.

3) braceDW442642.jpg S&W -5 shot revolvers- .38+P -models 642 and 442. Also a pic of me using them as a "Brace" -- I know, I know .. Dual Wield is "just for the movies" no need to practice that.

4) bracesw38.jpg S&W- 6 shot revolvers - .38 special -1929 M&P -model of 1905 fourth change (I like depression era firearms) and a 1955 M&P pre model 10 ( AFAIK in the 1950s and 1960s the metal was as good as it gets)

I need to do a new year cleaning of stored firearms and take a few pics so I may find another "Brace or two".

Brace of hand guns or others

Hello friends and neighbors // Found a few more, a brace of Remington 760 Gamemasters -1952 in .35rem,factory tapped for a scope and a 1958 ADL in .30-06 (my hunting rifle set up with a Nikon Buckmaster).

Also a brace of Remington 870 Express in 12 and 20ga
and these:

1) bracerugersix.jpg Ruger Service and Security Sixes -both 4inch-.38/.357 (still looking for a Speed Six at the right price)

2) braceDW357.jpg Dan Wesson -Moonson made-pistol packs .38/.357 (I sometimes carry these, great revolvers, back up is just like primary-- it is a beautiful thing)

3) bracecolt357.jpg Colt-Pythons - 1983 as New with box and papers-and a 1961- (my birth year and a shooter) it has some holster wear but looks and feels new. no box

4) bracecolt1862.jpg Colt 1851 Navy .36cal -maunf. 1861 (100 years before my birth) almost Sam Colts last year, he made it till Jan. 1862 bless his memory. I like the rare possibility he might have picked this one up and checked it out. No telling who or how many folks handled this during the Civil War, maybe one ,none or a ton.

Also a .36cal Pietta .1861 Navy, this came from THRs "Smokin Gun" with three barrels, two cylinders and two sets of grips and I thank him for them.

I'll let you figure out which is which;)

I think that about does it, wish my pics did the firearms justice but you can't have everything. At least they have all been wiped down.:D
