Thanks for the lead on Pinto's. I went into Ben's and after being totally ignored for over 5 minutes while the spudheads behind the counter chatted with buddies, I left and went over to Pinto's. Great little shop, attentive staff, and they knew their inventory well. I ended up walking out with a new S&W 57-6 (.41 mag) and a used Remington trap shotgun. Shot 'em both, like 'em both! All in all, a very good weekend! I wouldn't have known it was there without your recommendation. Thanks again.

I'm so glad you visited Pinto's and found a few things. I have to tell you they showed me that fine 57-6 revolver, I was SO tempted but I don't presently have the caliber so I handed it back. Knowing it went to a good home is special

Ben's has become a mixed bag as far as service goes. I find I get great service when a couple of difficult customers are there; all of a sudden I'm a hot date

At my age I'll take it however I can get it, lol.

That is an awesome deal, great find! Mine was merely a decent deal at $400, picked it up a few weeks ago. 1976 vintage 36-1 3, the only nickel gun I've ever owned. I like it, plus I'm a sucker for 3" revolvers.
