I may have asked this before, if I have, I have lost it.
I am needing the services of a good revolver gunsmith. Doesn't need to be anyone "famous", but someone who knows what he's doing, naturally. I have a S&W model 27 needing barrel work. Originally, I needed it set back to take care of a really bad breechface, but I just lucked into a nice 4" Highway Patrolman barrel surprisingly cheap, which is pretty much what I really want anyway (instead of the original 6"), so I'd like to have that installed, barrel-cylinder gap adjusted properly, etc. I know the finish won't match, but I'll take care of that later.
If any of you can recommend someone who does good work, I'd appreciate it.
