Charlie Richie, owner, publisher, and editor of the Backwoodsman says this was likely:
"I think I found the article you're looking for, it's in our November/December 2012 (Volume 33 No. 6) issue titled "Reload Those Rimfires" by Robert Miller.
I hope that is the correct article that you were...
Pulled* 160+ lbs of brass from under the reloading bench, and took* it to recycling. Cleared out pretty much everything commercial that wasn't once-fired by me. Also kept most of the LC-xx brass in 5.56.
*With my lifting restrictions, this required a local young man with a strong back for...
Purchased a Savior brand soft gun case for my new KSG410. In the gunroom I opened the shipping boxes for disposal and found this printed on the inside. Nice touch, people.
(E2A: purchased from Midway, corrected typo)
This vendor on Etsy made a primer catcher that works very well on my RCBS Jr. He also has a design for a Rock Chucker and RC II. And many other brands and models: 80 total.

First range day in 9 months, and just finished sorting out the 7.65 Browning/32ACP and 410 hulls in the reloading room. Stayed within Dr's directive regarding recoil, only shot a Beretta Tomcat 3032 and a Kel-tec 410 shotgun. I will say that the KSG410 WILL NOT accept Hornady factory duplex...

My recent Etsy primer trap works well when depriming. A used CPAC hose fits up nicely to the provided nipple, and a few nuts taped for weight to the end of the hose keeps it in the capture bucket. FAR less mess.
Receiver arrived today. I was bit surprised to see this is not a pristine new item; it has mounting marks from the trigger guard, drag marks from the safety, and a few small dings from metal-on-metal contact at the rear from an upper housing slamming shut. Still, I re-read the original GunBroker...
A while back, an acquaintance had an older custom bolt gun in 260 from his grandfather. Scary gun; pull the trigger and the gun would take 5-8 seconds for the sear to drop, or it might take another 8-10 seconds. Scary. Turns out Granddad regularly sprayed the trigger (Sako) assembly with...
...(arrived Weds), and a couple of US-made barrels from Royal Tiger Imports (RTI) due in Monday or so. RTI had some good sale prices last week for an *unissued* kit and new US barrel for under $260. Hard to beat that. Lower is still on its way to my LGS.
I'll try the barrels for a plunk test...
