It wasn't a matter of being cheap, as much as it was a matter of availability. I've managed to track down CZ factory mags since posting this. Thanks for assuming, though.
My Leatherman was "walked off" at work recently, so my wife found this on Amazon, made by Flissa, it seems to be functional, I'll put it through its paces at work this week and see how it holds up:
Problem is, I've looked for weeks, and NO ONE has CZ P10c mags available, except ProMag brand ones. I don't feel comfortable carrying without at least one spare mag.
Does anyone else have issues loading ProMag pistol mags to full capacityz or are my thumbs just that weak? I've never had a magazine I couldn't load to max capacity, but this morning I received a 15 round mag for my CZ P10c, and I only managed to get 10 rounds in. I took it apart to see if there...
Whatever you get, make sure it's the most unreliable gun on the market, like Cobra Arms or something, so when it's inevitably stolen, the thief has less of a chance of actually using it on someone
Yep, internal. It just not shaped exactly the same. I've tried three other extractors, including a Wilson Combat, none fit, even with some filework. It's just a proprietary thing Taurus does with vital components.
Numrich doesn't carry it, it's a "proprietary" extractor 🙄. I'd have to buy a printer to print out a shipping label, drive to a UPS store, sign a bunch of forms, wait 20 weeks or so.....I have other guns to carry, so it can sit until I have absolutely nothing to do. It just irritates me to no...
I will attest to that. What galls me is, if you need a replacement part, Taurus will absolutely not ship it to you, you need to send the gun to them. The extractor in my PT1911 broke, after more than 10 years of shooting every weekend, and none of the spare extractors I have will fit, because of...
For $500 of jump on it. As long as it functioned the way it's supposed to, I wouldn't care about how it looks. I've been after a 1903 or 1908 for years, with no luck.
There are plenty of other options to consider in this size category. Until yesterday, I carried a CZ RAMI as my EDC for many years. It's about the same size as the G26, but with infinitely better ergonomics, and with a metal frame instead of polymer, which soaks up recoil better. There are also...
I owned one of the old 9VE models. It was a great shooter....until it wasn't. They're affordable for a reason: they'll need replacing sooner rather than later.
I had one, briefly, about 10 years ago, before gifting it to someone. It's a solid gun, I just didn't care for it. Accurate, with a better trigger than I expected. I just didn't care for the large grip.
