Finished tidying up the spare bedroom where I reload.
Then back to the garage, continuing to pop spent primers.
Found a new one in WIN 9mm.
Damn crimps..........
At least one knows these are once fired! ;)
Putzed in the room a bit this morning. Cleaning and putting stuff away.
I may be done reloading until next Winter as it looks like I have plenty of ammo until then.
Found a little tin box that was my Dad's that I had forgotten about.
Opened it up again and decided I should separate all the...
Those blocks are homemade.
The bottom two are what my Dad made back in the eighties.
Laminated thick plywood.
The top one is one I made a few years ago out of scrap dunnage from Asia.
Different sizes on each side.
I have no idea what the wood is but it sure is pretty! (in my eyes)
Been having a hard time with keeping up on all the spent brass that I pick at the "Strange Range".
Pre-washing (mud, its that time of year, I guess) and popping spent primers.
It will get done.
Finally finished loading 300 rounds of 38 special.
I think I've mentioned working in a spare...
I'm still loading that 300 rounds of 38 special.
100 left to do.
I have also been busy taking care of the "Strange Range" and its abundant amount of spent cases, which is weeks early for here up North.
I thought this was odd.........
Could this have been manufactured this year?
Many found...

I am still "old school".

Boy, was I surprised!
Someone plowed the snow (not my job) and I picked up a couple hundred + of spent brass.
Washed the mud off, separated the...
S/S RULES!
Finished opening case mouths and priming 300 38 special rounds.
oops!
I understand this doesn't work.......... 🤪
So I popped it out slowly and the anvil fell out on the floor as I caught the primer.:(
Went to the garage and retrieved another "range find" primer from loads I...
`Its a tool, not a toy! :)
Its a wrist pin out of a large Cummins.
That top surface is FLAT!
I check for unseated primers spinning the cartridge base on it.
Also works for using the inertia hammer in one hand, pin in the other.
Moved the Rockchucker back into the house.
Got set up to load 38 Special, flared the case mouths of 50 and primed on the press
This slowed me down a bit..........
That old REM UMC brass is old. 2 failures.
I had to spin and check before automatically priming in this step.
You'll need some "Propel" after that session!
I didn't do much today.
This three day snow is wearing on me, but I did get back in "The Room" this afternoon for a bit.
Separated by headstamp the 400 plus 38 Special brass that is ready to load.
Lotsa "Winchester" brass.
Which is nice but once...
