Unpacked a pkg from LOK Grips!

My new LOK grips came in today’s mail: That’s the dark red/black color combination. They almost look like a dark mahogany. They are very grippy—to the point I may touch them up with sandpaper. But first, a range trip is in order… to be continued.

I’ve no doubt it will clean effectively. Be aware that DE is a lung irritant, so handle with care. Don’t breathe the dust—don’t stir up the dust.

Don’t like any grips with finger grooves. My fingers don’t ever fit them.

I don’t know if it makes a difference, but I always soak the “nose” of the bore snake with solvent, and the tail with some oil before I pull it through a pistol or rifle barrel. Seems to make the going easier and it may help clean the bore a little.

Sent my BHP slide off to Novak’s for new sights. I’ve been wanting this for a long time! The front blade sight and tiny notch rear just don’t do it for me anymore.
