I have put about 500 rounds through the gun and done a bunch of dry fire practice, I will not be putting any sights on it. I am still not 100% getting the dot on target quickly but with practice I think i will get it.
I have a Stevens 44 1/2 that was originally a 25rf, my Grandfather had it relined and chambered in 22 mag. I am looking into having it relined and chambered in 17hrm. My grandfather did many"improvements" to the rifle so I am not worried about collectors value.
My notice stated my fingerprints were compromised too, the only time i have been fingerprinted with a federal BGC was last year as a contractor for the VA.
there are several vendors natiopnal rifle and pistol matches@ Camp Perry in Port Clinton Ohio that have powder, i picked up a 8lb of bullseye and a 8 of ramshot tac. primer are plentiful too.
Do any of the shot timers have a combined Comstock feature like the ced timers? we use the ced7000 at our club but we have 2 members who have trouble hearing the 2.5KHz buzzer, I am looking for something with a lower frequency buzzer.
In northwest Ohio the local group maumee valley gun collectors assn. charges $5.00 admission and the leaseholder on the county rec center charges $3.00 for parking. you can buy a membership for $20.00 that will get you admission to all 6 shows and free parking.
